This complimentary consultation will take about 30 minutes and is completely virtual, designed to get to know you and assess if Empowerly will be the right fit for your needs. Our admissions expert will want to hear about your academic career, interests, extracurriculars, test scores, and more. They’ll use this information to discuss your application readiness, how Empowerly can help, and answer any lingering questions you or your parents might have.

If you are under the age of 18, your parent / guardian is required to attend the consultation session with you. So, it’s best to ensure they are in-the-loop and available during the time you choose.

WHY FAMILIES LOVE EMPOWERLY

Jaya, Harvard parent

Thank you for helping SM over these last 2 years during his formative high school years—finding summer internships and helping him get accepted to Harvard, UPenn, MIT, Yale, Johns Hopkins University (Hodson scholar), USC (full ride), and many others. With 70+ essays across 15+ college applications, SM wouldn't have finished so many applications with such high quality without Empowerly.

Empowerly counseling was a very personal experience where I was encouraged to pursue my interests. If you're wondering about how effective the process is, I would say that I accomplished more than I expected and got into schools that would have been out of my reach otherwise.

EMPOWERLY FAQ

What schools do Empowerly students get into?
Sky’s the limit. Empowerly students have been accepted to Harvard, UC Berkeley, Stanford, Columbia, MIT, Duke, UCLA, and many, many more. You can view some of our college successes here.
Do you focus on students only interested in Ivy or elite colleges?

While many of our students have been accepted into some of the most prestigious schools in the country, we strive to empower students of all interests so that they can realize their full potential in college and beyond.

Past students have gained acceptance to a broad range of schools, including Ivy, state colleges, private universities, and more. Ask your admissions consultant for any details on specific schools.

Do you guarantee college admission?

College admission should never be guaranteed and goes against the National Association of College Admissions Counseling Code of Ethics.

What we can say is that we are a selective program and over the last five years, 98% of our students have been accepted to a top 50 college, experiencing higher rates of acceptance into elite schools as compared to students without a dedicated counselor and development plan. Check out some of Empowerly’s admissions numbers here.
Is it too early / too late to get a college admissions counselor?
It’s never too early or too late to seek out an admissions counselor! In fact, our college prep services range from eighth grade through senior year of high school. It all depends on your specific needs. We assist with everything from interest discovery and study habit forming to admissions interviews and letters of recommendation.
How much does college counseling cost?

The cost of having a dedicated counselor varies and depends on numerous factors specific to the student’s needs and their goals for the future. With the rising costs of higher education and the increasingly selective admissions landscape at top schools, hiring a college counselor can be a worthwhile investment that yields tangible results down the road.
